#30 Try a new recipe every month - March Edition

On my fitness journey I've decided to give smoothie making a whirl. I just used an info graphic I found on Pinterest with suggested measurements for certain ingredients.

1 cup liquid


1 cup fruit....I divided it between banana and pineapple


1/2 cup thickening agent. I used Greek yogurt


I added a little boost


Then blend and enjoy! Forgive my janky nails and nervous face, Lucy was playing photographer. I don't have an excuse for the nails.




#30 Try a new recipe every month - February Edition

Oops so I forgot to do a recipe in February. The short month really got away from me. I tried this cheesy potato recipe last night and it was pretty good. I don't know if we will make it again, but if I do I think I will double the sauce. I didn't take any pictures for this one, but I will still link the recipe I used.

#14 Set and STICK to a workout schedule

     I'm writing this post a little ahead of myself, but I want this to be another place for accountability. My friends Ashley and Brittany have decided to join me in a weight loss journey. We are doing a 12 week weight loss challenge starting tomorrow. I have already been doing morning workouts the past few days.
     Maybe I'll update this with the progress every week. Maybe I'll make separate posts for each week. I am not convinced anyone but me reads this so I may make more short posts and keep it more like a journal. I weighed myself today for the first time since I gave birth to Lincoln. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I suppose I'll check back in next week.
